Meet our Pastor
Pastor Rick Miller is…awesome.
Pastor Rick was born and raised in California, and formally trained at Christ College and at Concordia Theological Seminary. He then served churches in Utah and the Western Slope of Colorado for several years. Thereafter, the Lord sent him to Israel, where Miller spent four years sojourning. He lived three years in a communal settlement (Kibbutz) and the fourth in Jerusalem. While Miller thought his main purpose for being there was to ultimately work toward a PhD degree and teach at the college level, the Lord had another plan in mind, sending him back into the pastoral ministry in the states, but with a very different perspective. Miller has also been availed by God the opportunity to explore his creative side by writing a number of Bible-related musical stage plays. Pastor Rick trusts that the love of Jesus will continue to bless him abundantly, and will also allow him to continue sharing such blessing with his congregational family, as well as with all of our neighbors in this Valley, in many varied, creative and wonderful ways.
